The assistant answers questions about the services Knox Legacy Law offers, using only what this website says. For anything about your own circumstances it can point you to public sources where others have learned more, but it does not analyze your situation and nothing it says is legal advice.

You are not a client

Using the assistant does not make you a client of the firm and does not create an attorney-client relationship or any representation. Do not share confidential information with it.

AI makes mistakes

The assistant is an automated system. It can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Anything that matters to you should be reviewed with your attorney.

What happens to the conversation

Conversations are stored so the firm can follow up if you ask to book a consultation and to improve the assistant. See the privacy policy for details.

What leaves the firm's systems

In the client portal, questions about your own matter's status, documents, payments, signatures and next steps are answered from the firm's own records. Nothing is sent anywhere for those.

Other questions are sent to the firm's artificial-intelligence provider, along with a short summary of the matter. The matter is identified by its number rather than its name, and the summary never includes the contents of your documents or the text of your messages. When a question needs outside research, the names on your matter are removed before it is sent.
